SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) - The first stage of moving County LS inland will begin later this month.

Sheboygan County Transportation Director Greg Schnell said construction on the project will begin April 28 with removing pavement on LS between Eisner Avenue and County MM.  After that, the road will be reshaped and repaved with new asphalt

While traffic will be allowed on the road with some delays and flagging, the bridge over Pigeon River will be closed to traffic for about two weeks starting the 28th.  A detour will be set up, using Playbird Road, Dairyland Drive, Highway 42, and North 15th Street.

Schnell said once this is done, they will shift focus to work on Dairyland Drive, which will become the new county road.  A projected start date is sometime in June.  The full project is scheduled to be completed in September.
