SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man faces battery charges for causing numerous injuries to his mother at their residence Saturday. 26 year old Taly Ly is accused of harming his 78 year old mother at their residence on the 1300 block of New York Avenue. The mother was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital for treatment of fractures to her face, wrist and foot.
A police investigation determined Ly was upset for not getting a driver’s license due to a medical condition that causes seizures. He tried to leave the residence, but his mother prevented. This forced him to punch her, which forced her to fall down a flight of stairs. Police say Ly admitted to wanting to cause pain to his mother.
He now faces up to three and a half year in prison if found guilty.
