SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan Falls man faces theft and attempted fraud charges for stealing two purses from Plymouth supermarkets and misusing money given to him by his parents.
Prosecutors say 34 year old Benjamin Dehn took a purse from a grocery cart at both the Pick N Save and Piggly Wiggly on April 6, and attempted to use credit cards from them at a bar and gas station. An investigation by law enforcement also revealed Dehn fooled his parents out of over $3,300 that they thought was being used to pay his probation officer over the past three months.
Dehn would admit he was back on drugs and he forged fake receipts regarding the false payments. He now faces over 15 years in prison if found guilty of all charges.
