SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - There have been periods of snow mixed with rain this afternoon, but as temperatures drop we could still be in for heavy snow. Sheboygan County Highway Commissioner Greg Schnell says they aren’t going home just yet. He said this afternoon, "I think it's still coming. We're right on the border. I believe we'll be into this thing for the next several hours with snow." Schnell says highway crews are still cleaning up in the western part of the county where they got more snow this morning, but he thinks there’ll be a lot more work to do. "Hopefully we can get a little rest before the next batch comes through because it's going to be a long evening if the winds pick up to the 40 miles an hour that they are talking about." Schnell said they had a full crew on with 42 trucks on the road as of three this morning.
