
SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Wisconsin's unemployment rate is on the decline. According to the Department of Workforce Development, the jobless rate in the state in January fell to six-point-one percent. It's the lowest rate since November 2008. Local figures will be out next week. The latest numbers for Sheboygan County are for the month of December when the unemployment rate was at 5 percent. The DWD says the state added over 106-thousand private sector jobs from December 2010 to December 2013.
