SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Benjamin Moore spruce-up in downtown Sheboygan will be getting underway in a couple of months.
Planning Director Chad Pelishek said buildings in four blocks in the downtown area will be getting a paint job compliments of Benjamin Moore - both sides of the block on 8th Street between Penn Avenue and Center Avenue and from Wisconsin to Niagara. The company will be designing and repainting all the first floors, and then they will give the homeowners a discount - ranging from 30 to 40 percent - and coupons to buy paints to paint the second floor.
Pelishek said work will begin in May and be finished in June. The city was one of 20 in the country selected by Benjamin Moore following on-line voting last year. The project is estimated to be worth between 250 and 500-thousand dollars.
