KOHLER, WI (WHBL) - The Blind Horse Restaurant and Winery has announced that the grand opening of the winery will be April 25-27, 2014. Anticipation has been high since The Blind Horse announced its intention of building a world class winery in Kohler. There will be 17 different wines available for tasting and purchase in the beautiful new tasting room.
Thomas Nye, general manager and winemaker, said, “It is extremely gratifying to launch a winery of this magnitude in Kohler. To be able to open our doors with 17 different wines available is unheard of in the industry, but it’s a testament to the commitment the owners have shown to build and deliver the type of world class experience expected in Kohler.”
Matt Moeller, owner of The Blind Horse Restaurant & Winery said, “We have been planning this day for a long time and I’m thrilled to see the vision finally come together. We have always believed that creating a unique food and wine destination in Kohler would be tremendous for the region. The feedback and response from the local population has been inspiring.”
The business is located on County Road O west of Sheboygan.
