SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The Sheboygan Fire Department responded to a fire at Nemak Thursday morning. Shift Commander Dean Klein said the department arrived at the scene around 6:40, noticing heavy black smoke coming from roof vents. When crews entered, they noticed employees using on- site fire hoses to contain the fire to a maintenance area and its storage/shelving units. The fire was extinguished and crews left the scene about an hour after arriving. There were no injuries and there is no damage estimate.
