FOND DU LAC, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth woman who caused a fatal accident in Fond du Lac County last August will spend a year behind bars. 51 year old Laurie Garcia was sentenced in Fond du Lac County Court Wednesday for the death of 53 year old Kathleen Fee, of Fond du Lac. Garcia, who was given credit for the 203 days she has spent in the county jail, was also given four years probation during which she will have to perform 50 hours of community service each year. Garcia was passing a line of cars on Highway 23 east of Fond du Lac when she forced Fee to take evasive action. Fee lost control of her car, which was then hit by another vehicle, causing it to flip around, ejecting Fee who died at the scene.
