SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (WHBL) - Mechanical problems forced Flight For Life to make an emergency landing at the Sheboygan County Airport late Sunday night. The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department says Dispatch got a 911 call just before 11:30, that because of a hydraulic issue, the chopper had to land at the Airport near Sheboygan Falls. It's being described as a "hard landing" - the chopper coming down with enough force to damage the aircraft - specifically the skids, which spliced outwards.
Flight had been on the way to a transport and there were no patients on board when they had to make the emergency landing.
