SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - With 11 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed by the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health in its Friday update, the daily increase now averages more than a dozen over each of the last three days. And including 4 more recoveries, a net gain of 7 active cases was added, with today’s new high total at 68. 3 persons in the county are now receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19. 244 negative test returns means the daily positive rate is 4.3%.
The state added a new daily high of 845 confirmed positive test results, 6.7% of returns that also included 11,857 negatives. 34,753 cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin. 5 more persons have died of COVID-19 since yesterday, raising the total to 814, and 40 more persons entered a hospital for treatment.
