PLYMOUTH, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth man faces 12 counts of possessing child pornography. 23 year old Dustin Courchaine is charged for having images on his cell phone depicting underage children taking part in sexual activities.
According to the criminal complaint, Plymouth Police received Courchaine’s cell phone last month from a Plymouth woman who had let him stayed at her residence a few days and left the cell phone there. A Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department computer forensic expert, who is also a member of the FBI Cyber Crimes Task Force, verify the pictures as pornographic. When law enforcement interviewed Courchaine, he said he did download the images from the internet over the past weeks or months.
He now faces up to 25 years in prison for each felony count.
