CEDAR GROVE, WI - (WHBL) - The Cedar Grove-Belgium School District has found its new superintendent from within. District board president Chad Hoopman says the board recently selected middle school Principal Jeanne Courneene to replace the retiring Steve Shaw.
He said the selection is based on Courneene’s past experience within the district and will be a great fit as the district works on implementing state Common Core standards, Smarter Balance assessments, and Teacher Effectiveness goals.
The district board will meet this Wednesday to approve the contract for Courneene, which will begin July 1.
