SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Efforts to build a new multi-purpose building at the Sheboygan Marsh got approval from the Sheboygan County Board Tuesday evening. They approved unanimously to allow the group “Friends of the Sheboygan Marsh” to raise funds for the project.
Group President Lil Pipping said at the meeting part of the building will be used for education - assisting Camp Y-Koda. The room can also be used for large meetings and weddings. The rest of the building will have a kitchen area, an atrium for displaying information about the marsh, and up to date showers for the campground.
Pipping said the final design and cost have not yet been made.
