WAUKESHA, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has lost the appeal of his drunk driving conviction and now will have to pay the fines and have an ignition interlock device placed on his vehicle.  41 year old Jeffrey Halida had been charged with first offense drunk driving after his motorcycle left a road in Sheboygan County and hit a utility pole in October of 2011.  His blood alcohol level was .18.   Halida went to trial in Sheboygan County Court last May and was found guilty.  He appealed on the grounds that during the trial it had been mentioned that he had taken Oxycodone for a finger injury thus, prejudicing the jury.  The Appeals Court disagree and upheld the conviction.
