SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The State Supreme Court will be sitting in Sheboygan next month. Supreme Court Justices will be in the Branch One courtroom on October 3rd to hear two cases. The visit marks the 20th anniversary of the Court’s “Justice on Wheels” program that brings oral argument to communities across the state. Officials said seats to watch the hearings are free and open to the public, but reservations are suggested. They can be made by calling 608-266-1298 or e-mailing sara.foster@wicourts.gov. Both cases to be heard involve the use of cell phones to track suspects in criminal cases. One deals with police tracking a cell phone user’s location via GPS without a warrant. The other centers on police use of cell phone signals to track a suspect in a homicide investigation.
