SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Today is the last day of service for Orbit, a member of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit. Orbit is a nine year old German Shepherd who has been with the department since October of 2006, working with Deputy Tyler Wuestenhagen the past seven years. During his service Orbit has assisted with hundreds of drug sniffs and searches for wanted and missing people. He also has participated in numerous educational demonstrations for the public. As for his retirement, he will be in the possession of Deputy Wuestenhagen and his wife, living with two other family dogs.
