SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - An Oostburg man has been charged for stealing items from vehicles in Sheboygan earlier this month. 23-year-old Kevin Johnson made his initial appearance in Sheboygan County Court Thursday on charges of repeater misdemeanor theft. According to the criminal complaint, a Sheboygan Parks Department worker found Johnson sleeping in a bathroom at Cleveland Park on August 15. When authorities investigated, they discovered a number of items that were stolen from vehicles over the past several days. Some of the items included keys, camera equipment, medication, and over $100 in cash. When asked about the items, Johnson denied committing the crime and said he had been kicked out of his brother’s residence a few days earlier.
