SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - An Elkhart Lake man is facing three misdemeanor charges of receiving stolen property after allegedly stealing several guns from his father’s home in Plymouth and then selling them. 24 year old Joshua Huston was formally charged Monday in Sheboygan County Court. According to the criminal complaint his father noticed the guns missing from a closet last month. They included three rifles and a shotgun. The ensuing investigation revealed the guns had been sold to Gander Mountain for more than nine hundred dollars. Surveillance video showed Huston making the sale. Police said Gander Mountain had taken the guns off of the shelves when they received information they may be stolen.
