PLYMOUTH, WI (WHBL) - A three year old Plymouth girl died due to being hit by a vehicle in the Plymouth Aquatic Center parking lot this past weekend.
The Plymouth Police Department says Aaliyah Godfrey was struck by a Chrysler minivan, driven by 39-year-old Pam Garbisch of Sheboygan, around 11:20 Saturday morning. Aaliyah was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan for treatment of injuries, but would die from them several hours later.
Authorities say Garbisch was performing a parking maneuver in the lot when, most likely, Aaliyah came out between other parked vehicles and then was hit and run over by the right side of the vehicle. They add alcohol and speed were not factors in this accident, and no citations are likely to be issued.
