SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Several hundred people took part in the seventh annual Sheboygan observance of National Night Out Tuesday night.  The main event was a two mile walk in the downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods.  The event is designed to get people to know their neighbors -something Sheboygan County Crime Stoppers President John Schluechtermann wants to see done every day.  He told the crowd it means being able to know your neighbors down the street and being able to wave to them as you walk or drive by.  Sheboygan Police Chief Chris Domagalski also addressed the gathering and said his vision for the police department is to make Sheboygan the safest city of its size in the United States.  He said police can't do it alone - they must have help from the community.  Also at the event were members of the Sheboygan Police Department, Sheboygan Fire Department and the Sheboygan SWAT Team with their vehicles and equipment for display.
