SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - There were scattered power outages and branches down around Sheboygan County overnight as severe thunder storms rolled through the area bringing heavy rain and strong winds. Sgt. Jim Gottsacker of the Sheriff’s Department said they received reports of outages in Elkhart Lake and Cedar Grove. He said there were branches down but none posing any traffic problems. In neighboring Calumet County, the State Patrol reports Highway 10 blocked in both directions near Sherwood due to downed power lines. It happened about four a.m. and the closure was expected to last about two hours.
