SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - One of the area’s newest attractions is doing well during this heat wave. Quarry Beach has been in operation since late June by a Madison firm which is leasing the beach area. On site manager Monica Garbisch said Wednesday the recent warmer weather has more people coming out. She said that yesterday there were people waiting in line to get in. The park has a variety of on-site attractions for people to enjoy. Garbisch said the Sports Park obstacle course in the water is the most popular, causing them to put time limits on its use by attendees. The beach is open from 11 to 7 daily. Garbisch added all who come must sign a waiver since there are no lifeguards on site. Also all carry ins are prohibited on the beach, but concessions are on site.
