SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The former Executive Director of the Sheboygan Humane Society will be back in Sheboygan County Court for a preliminary hearing this morning. 59 year old Eilene Ribbens was arrested in April and charged with obtaining prescription drugs by fraud. Ribbens is accused of ordering a large amount of animal medication which she gave to relatives. Ribbens was charged after the Veterinarian employed by the Humane Society discovered a shipment of 1000 Tramadol pills in January after other employees had called it to his attention. Ribbens is now facing up to 6 years in prison. Today’s proceeding will determine if there is enough evidence for a trial.
