SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Get ready for a season of fun events in Sheboygan with the fall recreation schedule.
Community recreation director John Koehler says registration for fall events is now open. "Everything is getting ready to start that first week of September right after labor day. So we're really excited, we've got everybody working really hard, we're inundated with online registrations and phone calls with people getting excited for the programs." He says that there's new online registration as well that's easier to use and doesn't require extra online forms to fill out.
People signing for this fall's programs will see some familiar items. Koehler says one of their more popular programs each fall is the adult yoga classes. "If high aerobics and high cardio aren't your thing and you want to stretch out with a little bit of yoga, I think it's a nice intro class for those who are just trying to find their niche in what their fitness world is." As always, there's also the fall swimming classes for youth, and other sports events including youth soccer and more. New events planned for this year are adult whiffleball and high school flag football.
