SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - The victims of the Embers Apartment fire are getting some much needed help today.

The Red Cross is opening up a Multi Agency Relief Center today at Farnsworth Middle School. That is a program that brings together multiple community service groups in order to provide the victims of the fire all the tools they need to recover. Groups like Lakeshore CAP, Community Resources of Sheboygan and the Salvation Army will all be on site providing supplies and other recovery services. County and city departments will also be on hand to help replace vital documents and other paperwork.

Red Cross officials say the the MARC helps victims get the help they need all in one place, rather than having to piecemeal it together themselves.

Since responding at the time of the fire, the Red Cross has provided residents with financial support for emergency needs like food, shelter and clothing along with personal hygiene kits and blankets.

The is the second time this month the Red Cross has opened up a MARC. The last time was for the apartment fire in Sheboygan Falls several weeks ago.
