SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman is facing charges after allegedly leaving a paper trail on her way to shoplifting.

32-year-old Abby Pease faces one count of misdemeanor retail theft as a repeater.

According to the criminal complaint, police were called out for a report of a shoplifter at the south side Piggly Wiggly on June 28th. Workers at the scene told police that Pease had stopped in to drop off an application for the new Little Caesar's Pizza store, and then walked over to the grocery store, and filled up her cart. She then walked out of the store and when confronted by employees told them stop harassing her. Officers say surveillance video from both Piggly Wiggly and Little Caesars confirm that Pease was their suspect.

Police caught up with Pease this week for an unrelated misdemeanor warrant, and took her into custody. She told officers she knew what the arrest was about, but that she did not want to talk to police.
