SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan police have arrested a third person in connection with a heroin overdose earlier this month.

27-year-old April Detrick faces one count of delivery of heroin as a repeater.

According to the criminal complaint, police were investigating an overdose case on August 3rd, when April's name came up in the chain of people who might have provided heroin in the case. Police have already arrested Robert Rogers and Jamie Betts in connection with the case. Police say Betts was brought in to Sheboygan Memorial for a suspected overdose. During an interview with police, she allegedly confessed to purchasing heroin from Detrick with the help of a person she called "Corky".

Police say Betts admitted that she used Corky as a middleman because Detrick seemed reluctant to sell to Rogers because he'd also recently overdosed on heroin. Police say Corky and Betts paid Detrick $40 for some heroin with she and Rogers then used.

Police caught up with Detick on August 10th at a local hotel. When first interviewed, officers say she gave police the false name of Lily Koene, but was quickly identified. Police took her into custody on a probation hold.

Detrick is in custody on a $5,000 cash bond and a probation hold. She'll be back in court for a preliminary hearing August 24th.
