SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WI (WHBL) - The staff in the Sheboygan Falls school district is gearing up another great year for students.
Superintendent Jane Born says they're working to help make the district a home for the entire area. "What we really tried to emphasize this year was the importance of a school community, and how the school is the heart of every successful community. And really a place where children are inspired and where young minds are encouraged to grapple with new ideas." She says that elementary students will especially have a fun time this year. "It's exciting because they start over with a new teacher and a new class. And this year in our elementary we're really focusing on lot on literacy instruction and good reading habits."
The district is continuing class registration tomorrow along with picture day for students. Born says that her schools are working to create a desirable place for both students and their families. "We work hard every day to provide the very best opportunities for them to be better and to grow and to learn and to be good citizens in their community and strive to be whatever they want to be."
Classes are in session starting September 6th.
