PLYMOUTH, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth man is in custody for taunting police.
31-year-old Ethan Kaulaity is charged with threatening a law enforcement officer.
According to the criminal complaint, a female Plymouth police officer was parked and watching traffic Tuesday night, when Kualaity rode past on a bicycle and mimicked shooting the officer. She says he then said, "Bang, bang, got ya, next time it's for real!"
Police say this was not the first time that Kaulaity made these sorts of threats against this officer. Police say he's been know to try to start fights with officers, and to try and provoke them into taking action by jumping in front of squad cars and making a disturbance.
Officers picked up Kaulaity Thursday afternoon on the charges, and he claimed to the officers arresting him that he had been "just joking around" with the female officer.
Kaulaity remains in custody at the Sheboygan County Jail, and will be back in court next week for a preliminary hearing.
