SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Charges have been filed against a Sheboygan man accused of being very drunk behind the wheel.

50-year-old Peter Guske faces one count of fourth time OWI.

According to the criminal complaint, Sheboygan Falls police were called out Friday afternoon after a public works employee spotted a red sports car driving erratically. Officers caught up with the car on Buffalo Street, where they say they watched Guske drive in the wrong lane of traffic for around 100 yards. Police pulled Guske over and tried to question him, but Guske allegedly had a very hard time communicating with officers. They say he was fumbling to get out his wallet, his eyes were bloodshot, and he even revved his engine by accident while reaching for his glove box.

Police told Guske to get out of his car, but they say he had a very hard time doing so, an was stumbling when he got out. Officers say that Guske was unable to even complete field sobriety tests, and was taken into custody.

A preliminary breath test done at the jail showed that Guske had an alleged .359 blood alcohol content.

Guske is free on a $2,500 cash bond and will be back in court on Tuesday for an adjourned initial appearance.
