SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A third person is being charged in connection with a robbery from last week.

17-year-old Jesse Peterson of Cleveland faces one charge of being party to a crime of robbery by use of force.

18-year-old Chase Wagoner of Plymouth and 21-year-old Austin Lesko of Sheboygan are already facing similar charges for allegedly beating up a man for a pair of Air Jordans.

That sale was arranged on a local trading website, and police say that when the victim arrived to sell those shoes, Wagoner grabbed for the box and started fighting for it. Police say he eventually wrestled it away from the victim and then allegedly threw it to Lesko before punching the victim and running away.

Police say a search of Wagoner's cell phone after his arrest found a number of messages back and forth between him and Peterson. Police say the two discussed some money that Wagoner owed Peterson, and Wagoner allegedly told Peterson about his plan to rob the victim. Peterson allegedly responded that Wagoner should "Just take them", and follows up with "LMAO". Police say Peterson said the shoes would cover the debt that Wagoner owed him.

Peterson remains in custody in the Sheboygan County Jail, and will be back in court for a preliminary hearing June 15th.
