SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Sheboygan man accused of facilitating prostitution is set for a plea hearing this afternoon.

36-year-old Nathaniel Meyer faces one count of pandering.

According to a criminal complaint, Sheboygan County deputies set up a prostitution sting through an advertisement on Backpage back in March. They say number attached to an escort named "Sapphire" tracked back as being registered to Meyer.

Deputies say they placed a call and set up a meeting with the woman on the other end of the line at a Sheboygan hotel. Deputies watching the hotel say they spotted a car pull up and a woman got out, heading directly inside the hotel to the room they'd picked out. The complaint says the deputy inside the hotel took that woman into custody, and deputies outside the hotel took Meyer into custody.

Meyer is currently free on a signature bond. If found guilty, he faces up to 9 months in the county jail.
