SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Plymouth woman convicted of trying to sell fake drugs is headed to jail for violating her probation in a previous case.

22-year-old Megan Meyer was convicted last month for trying to pass off crushed up dog food as heroin and a white aspirin as Percocet. That was after she was already on probation for a theft and forgery case from 2015. A judge revoked that previous probation this week, and sent Meyer to jail for nine months and extended her probation once she's released to three years.

In the first case, Meyer was convicted after pleading no contest to multiple counts of theft and forgery after she was caught trying to cash checks that a Plymouth man had reported stolen. She walked off with about $3,100 dollars, and told police when she was arrested she'd spent all the money on heroin.

In the other, case, Meyer was suspected of buying the drugs that lead to an overdose in Plymouth. While in custody, she also confessed to an incident where she tried to sell a police informant those fake drugs. Meyer claimed that she sold the informant the fake drugs to get back at them for stealing a car seat.

If Meyer violates her probation in the drug case, she could face 19 years in prison.
