TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (WHBL) -- A Wednesday afternoon fire in the Town of Sheboygan Falls has destroyed a skid steer and damaged a machine shed.
Fire crews from around the area were dispatched to a dairy farm on County Road J around 11:30 am for a report of a fire inside of a machine shed. Multiple crews were dispatched to the scene, but Town of Sheboygan Falls and Johnsonville crews arrived first and were able to quickly put out the fire.
Officials say that a skid steer caught on fire inside the shed, but the cause of that fire has not yet been determined. It's unclear if anyone had been inside the shed when the fire started, but no one was injured.
The skid steer is considered a total loss, and there was some smoke damage to the rest of the shed, but damage reports were not released.
The fire remains under investigation.
