SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth woman who is facing charges for passing bad checks was recently sentenced for using a stolen check and credit card. Reserve Judge Terrence Bourke sentenced 38-year-old Jessica Reinke to six months in jail and future restitution.
The sentence came after Reinke reached a plea deal back in December, where she pleaded no contest to a count of misappropriate use of an ID to obtain money, while a charge of uttering a forgery was dismissed.
The criminal complaint states the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department was called back in August to investigate the use of a check that was stolen from a Town of Lima home. That check was found to have been used at an area Check ‘n Go store, with Reinke determined to be the suspect.
The victim also said he had evidence, which investigator confirmed, that Reinke used a Bank of America credit card under his account, racking up a balance over 39-hundred dollars.
