SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth man will have to spend one year in the local jail in connection to his fifth OWI offense.
63-year-old Thomas Weedman was also ordered to have his license revoked for 36 months, and must use an ignition interlock for 36 months as part of the sentence handed down last week by Judge James Bolgert. The sentence came after Weedman pleaded no contest to the OWI offense, while charges of operating with a PAC and operating with a revoked license were dismissed.
According to the criminal complaint, Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop after spotting a vehicle driving over the centerline back in late November. The driver, Weedman, was arrested after he failed field sobriety tests and had a preliminary breath test register a level around three times over the legal limit.
