SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Plymouth man was given a sentence that included 120 days in jail and two years probation after he caused a disturbance in October.
Judge Angela Sutkiewicz also ordered 51 year old Robert Benzschawel to perform 60 hours of community service, along with counseling and treatment, after he reached a plea deal with prosecutors last week. The plea deal had him enter no contest pleas for disorderly conduct and failure to comply with officers and, in exchange, a charge of bail jumping was dismissed.
The charges came about after Plymouth Police were called to a home October 3rd for a report of Benzschawel attacking another person.
Once officers arrived, Benzschawel reportedly kept himself from being arrested for a time by threatening gun use against the officers. Eventually, he was taken into custody.
