SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Former Sheboygan alderman Kevin Matichek has had his sentencing for a number of charges connected to his interactions with teenage males delayed.
Court records showed Judge L. Edward Stengel moved the sentencing date from February 9 to February 29.
It was back in December when a plea deal was reached with Matichek for charges in Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties. He agreed to plead no contest to two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child and one count of a public officer accepting a bribe, while five counts of possessing child pornography were dismissed.
Meanwhile, state online court records show Matichek was charged in January in Outagamie County with two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, and one count of child enticement for sexual contact, alleged to have happened around June of 2014. An initial appearance is scheduled for February 23.
