WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI (WHBL/KFIZ) - Two people were injured in separate gun incidents in Washington County over the past few days.

The first happened Friday evening in an apartment in the Town of Germantown.  Menominee Falls Police say a 19-year-old Germantown man shot himself in the left hand while cleaning the gun.  Officials say the discharge was accidental.

The second incident happened early Sunday morning in an apartment in Newberg.  Sheriff’s officials say a handgun a 36-year-old man was trying to sell went off and struck another person in the arm.  The victim was treated at a hospital and released.  The seller was arrested for intoxicated use of a firearm.
