SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man was given a 90 day jail sentence, plus two years probation, for his actions to his young daughter.
Judge James Bolgert sentenced 23 year old Kenneth Diener this week after he pleaded no contest to two counts of child neglect and one count bail jumping. The sentence was part of a plea deal reached with Sheboygan County prosecutors, where a charge of first-degree sexual assault was changed to child neglect.
According to the criminal complaint, the then four-year-old victim told Sheboygan Police Diener would play a “game” with her where he would inappropriately touch her while at his place. When police interviewed Diener, he reportedly said the daughter had learned the game from his ex-wife’s boyfriend.
Investigators also noticed his home with piles of dog feces and urine on the flood, a condition Diener claimed was due to his deep depression and troubles cleaning up after his four dogs.
