FOND DU LAC, WI (WHBL/KFIZ) - The 39-year-old Fond du Lac woman suspected of shooting her husband to death in November of 2013 begins her trial today in Fond du Lac County for first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.
Eve Nance originally reported her husband missing earlier that month, but later admitted to investigators that she shot Timothy Nance in their home. She then claimed to dump the body in a wooded area in Milwaukee.
First day proceedings are expected to consist of jury selection and opening statements. The trial is scheduled to last up to eight days.
