SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan woman was sentenced to 60 days in jail and 18 months probation for a series of retail thefts in Sheboygan over several months in 2015.  32 year old Jennifer Lehman was sentenced last week after she pleaded no contest to three counts of misdemeanor retail thefts.

The criminal complaints against her stated Sheboygan Police were called to Festival Foods in mid-September to review surveillance video of recent robberies.  The video showed the same two people, one of them Lehman, stealing items from the store on four separate occasions in late August and early September.  The total cost of the items stolen was around 350 dollars.

Lehman wasn't arrested until she was connected to a theft of items from Walmart on Sheboygan’s south side November 7.  In that incident, surveillance video showed her and another person trying to take around 145 dollars worth of merchandise from the store without paying.  When interviewed, she reportedly told police they could not pay for some of the items because they forgot their food stamp card at home, but they did try to pay for some of them with a gift card.
