SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Two Christian schools in the Sheboygan area are planning to merge operations.
Recently, parents at both the Sheboygan Christian School and the Sheboygan County Christian High School overwhelmingly voted to support combining their two private school systems into one. On the Sheboygan Christian School website, they stated 89-percent of parents of their student’s parents support the merger, while 87-percent of parents at Sheboygan County Christian High School also support the merger.
This will mean that the K-through-8 program at Sheboygan Christian and the 9-through 12 program at Sheboygan County Christian will be run by a single school board and administration team, with a combination of resources under a unified curriculum.
Also, there are plans to sell their separate buildings to either construct a new building or renovate an old building to combine their locations into one.
The plan is to have a new administration team in place by next fall, with a new combined location for classes sometime in 2017.
