SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - Sheboygan Alderman Darryl Carlson has confirmed to WHBL News he will resign his position on the city’s Common Council, with official notice being submitted to City Hall today, December 7. The resignation will take place at the end of the month.
Carlson says he will be moving on to a new job that will allow him to spend more time with certain veteran causes.
The Third District alderman is currently serving his third term, having been first elected in 2011. He has been active on the council, serving for a time as Vice President and is a member of six committees.
Carlson’s resignation is the fifth for the council in 2015.
