SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Manitowoc man has begun serving an eight month prison sentence in connection to a theft earlier this year from the Wal-Mart in Plymouth.

18 year old Brandon Vice was sentenced by Judge Angela Sutkiewicz last week after he violated probation for the retail theft misdemeanor.

The criminal complaint detailing the February 5 incident states Plymouth Police were called to the store after an employee noticed someone took cigarettes from the store without paying for them.  A vehicle the suspect left in was stopped a short time later.

Investigators used surveillance video and people inside the vehicle to connect Vice with the theft.

It was back in July when Vice was given one year probation, but that was revoked in September after he was charged for other criminal activities in Manitowoc County.
