RANDOM LAKE, WI (WHBL) - Anyone attending the Random Lake/Cedar Grove-Belgium football game Friday evening in Random Lake will be asked to help out in a fundraiser for a Random Lake alumnus.
Robert Ross was a coach for the Rams’ track team when he suffered a seizure at an event last spring. Tests revealed he had a cancerous brain tumor. Since then, surgery was done to remove nearly all of the tumor, and Robert had radiation as part of treatment that is ongoing.
The Rams Booster Club is stepping up to help the Ross family by donating all concession stand proceeds from tonight’s game to the family to help them pay some of the medical costs. Also, soccer and track athletes will be running a 50/50 raffle with proceeds also going to the Ross family.
