Sheboygan County, WI (WHBL) - The holiday weekend took a tragic turn in the town of Greenbush Saturday morning, when an accident on County Road AP at County Road C claimed two lives.
According to a press release issued by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, first responders were called to the accident scene at 10:21 Saturday morning after a sedan traveling westbound on County Road C collided with the pickup truck. Investigators believe the sedan failed to stop at a stop sign, causing the accident. Both occupants of the sedan were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was ejected from the vehicle and was transported by Flight for Life to Theda Clark Medical Center.
The names of all of the victims involved are being withheld pending notification of next of kin The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department’s Reconstruction Team continues to investigate the accident.
