MADISON, Wis. (WHBL) - A Plymouth elementary school pupil is one of 9 young people from around the state who won top honors in this year’s poster design contest sponsored by the Wisconsin Bureau of Aeronautics. Sophie Ana Schneider won first place in the junior category, ages 6 to 9, for her poster. Sophie advances to the national Aviation Art Contest for judging in Washington D.C. She also has the option of selecting a $100 art supply gift certificate, or an airplane ride for two. Officials said there were more than 500 entries in the contest.
