SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man will serve a year in jail and a year on extended supervision for beating up a person this past spring. Judge James Bolgert recently sentenced 21 year old Brandon Ball for substantial battery with intent to cause bodily harm after Ball pleaded no contest.
Ball was charged after he was accused of beating up a boyfriend of a family member on the 2400 block of North 13th Street in May. The criminal complaint states the man had a verbal argument with the girlfriend, and that caused him to be beaten up by Ball later while walking on Sheboygan’s north side. The victim suffered injuries, and also accused Ball of using brass knuckles.
Ball will be serving his prison and supervision time at the same time of his sentence connected to a hit and run and evading officer incident back in May of 2014.
